Basic Shape of a character

Week 3, 22 March 2018

We learnt about the basic shape of making a character. Female's character are drawn based on a Pear shape, male based on square. The shape that we draw will give the information for the characteristic.

we need to exaggerate the form of a character to make it more interesting and extra attractive. We can also make the audience confused about the characteristic of a character. For an example, a "Hero" who looks thin or villain, which mostly seen in animated series or a comic that i used to read.
